Why you can't just rename a JPG to .pdf
A common trick people try is renaming photo.jpg to photo.pdf. It never works. What happens behind the scenes
A raw phone photo is often 4000px wide and several megabytes. Photographing a document properly before converting
The quality of the final PDF depends entirely on the photo you start with, so a few habits make a real difference: shoot in good, even light rather than a dim room, hold the phone directly above the page rather than at an angle (which causes one side to blur and the text to look skewed), and fill the frame with the document rather than including a lot of desk around it — crop afterward if you can't avoid extra background. A blurry or angled source photo produces a blurry or angled PDF page; conversion can't fix quality that wasn't there to begin with.
