Sending three pages instead of sixty
Requests are usually specific. An accountant wants the two pages showing a
transaction. A landlord wants the signature page. A university wants one mark
sheet from a bundle. Sending the whole document is more work for the recipient
and shares more of your information than the request called for. Extract Pages
takes the pages you name and gives you them as a new PDF.

The pages arrive untouched
Extraction copies the original page objects into a new file rather than
re-rendering them. Text stays selectable and searchable, images keep their
resolution, and a scan looks exactly as it did. There is no quality cost, and
file size falls in proportion to how much you left behind.
Your source document is unchanged. DesiDocs works on an uploaded copy, so the
original on your computer keeps all its pages and you can come back and extract a
different set without re-uploading anything.
Sharing less, on purpose
The reason to extract rather than send everything is usually privacy, so it is
worth being precise about what this does: pages you did not select are not in the
output at all. But pages you *did* select arrive complete. If the page you are
sending carries a number or a name that is not the recipient's business,
Redact PDF removes that text from the file before you send it.
